I'm currently using a pair of 512mb Mushkin pc3500 level 2 rams with Asus p4p800 mobo and am trying to figure out which setting from the following would give more performance and stability.

a) FSB@217, Ram@434, 2-3-2-6 using 1:1 divider.

b) FSB@240, Ram@384, 2-2-2-5 using 5:4 divider.

I have a p4 2.8c and it won't let me oc any higher than 240 without errors in prime95. Please tell me your advice. Thanks!

run memtest and sisoft sandra and see what your memory benches are with each, and whichever is highest, well you get it

What he said. It's hard to compare by feeling. That's what benchmarks are for. :)
