my friend told me this is good ram, which is what i have. what kind of speeds could i get from it and what ratio would be best for a stock speed of 2.53?

I had a stick of that revision and it did 220MHz 2-2-2-11 in my 8RDA+. To run a 1:1 divider and high FSB on an Intel system, you'd probably want something like PC3500/3700. however, if you plan on running it at stock speed, it'll do a bang-up job.
