Internet security keeps resetting

one of my XP boxes is not accepting cookies so i can't log in. when i go to internet settings and look at the security level its at maximum. when i change it back to defaults (medium) and hit accept and try to log in i get nothing. i check the security settings again and its back at maximum.

wtf :(

anyone know how to force windows to accept cookies?

Open IE | Tools | Internet Options | "Privacy" tab-->What's the "Privacy Setting" slider set to? | "Advanced" button-->What are the "Advanced Privacy Settings" for cookie handling set to? :)
