strange temps?

my celly 700 with intels` F/H :
idle:22 C
playing unreal turnament:29-31 C
room temperature :22 C
monitored with asus cuv4x probe
is this strange?
in bios my temp is 30 C

Some Bios revisions of some mainboards are famous for reporting wildly inaccurate temps. Dunno if your's is one of these. P3V4X's with some Bios Revs were noted as having this problem at one time. If there is a notable difference between what mobo/CPU temps are reported in Bios and what Asus Probe reports, it's best to believe what Bios says, rather than what a software monitoring prog reports.

I can't remember if Asus Probe allows you to dial in compensation, so that Bios and Probe agree with each other. I don't think so. If not, try MBM instead, remembering to uninstall one hardware temp monitoring prog before installing a different one.
