Is it possible to overclock a Celly 533 PPGA on an MSI 694D with 2 cpu's? And does sanding the slugs help performance?

I've never used the 694d to do it, but I have overclocked a pair of 533 PPGA's on a BP6. The 533 will usually only go to about 600MHz though- not a great overclocking chip without extreme cooling, and even marginal then. You might go to www.2cpu.com and ask there- the 694d is quite popular with that group, and there are probably a few folks running that combo.

Lightly lapping the cpu core with VERY fine sandpaper to make sure they are level and smooth will help reduce temp a little bit in some cases. Use a piece of glass or something very flat for a base. To obtain maximum results, you should also lap the heatsink flat at the same time. starting with 600 grit and ending at 1200 seems to be the hot ticket.
