Hello,
I have just overclocked my 200 mhz Pentium MMX to 250 mhz at 100 X 2.5 and 2.9 volts. I'm using standard cooling and this is the max I can go.

I can reach 300 mhz but it hangs after 20 seconds.

My question is, can I go to 300+ mhz if I use better cooling?

Thanks

Maybe, but it would be a real crapshoot.

Do you feel lucky?

Maybe with today's modern h.s. fans and a little arctic silver, you might hit 275mhz. Actualy that is a pretty good jump for an old proc like that..anything else you get you should consider gravy ;-)
