the abitBE6II is advertised as only supporting pc100 ram. if i tweak the fsb to 133 does this mean i can get the full benefits fo pc133 ram?
thank you,
mark
A lot of PC100 ram won't run at 133FSB, so if you are headed that direction get some PC133- you'll need it, most likely.

I have the same Mobo and pc133 ram works just fine..in mine and in other's with the same board.
Someone might be confusing Abit's user booklet saying it guarantees pc 100 vs. the reality of the facts.... If you have purchased PC 133 ram there is nothin that needs changing...just pop it in and run it.

actually the 440BX chipset doesn't officially support the 133mhz fsb but with later bios updates, PC133 could be used with it and it had the ability to run the fsb of 133 and higher...
i'm assuming you're reading the manual and according to intel's 440BX specifications, PC133 and 133mhz fsb isn't officially supported but like i said...bios updates will make it work.

It doesnt "officially" support it. But it gets superior performance and stability with pc133 than any chipset which does officially support it. Don't worry about it is basically my point.
