Just wondering, since you have to hook a cable directly to the card if my power supply is enough for this card. Its a 350w, but Im told thats not what really matters, and that the average Volts are what matters, something like that.

I dont know how to find out the other info on it, and I dont know the brand, but a 350W PS should have enough Volts, or whatever for this setup right? Its a Foxlink PS, that came with my case.

xp2200
9800np
sound card
kt400 gigabyte motherboard.
2 case fans(stock).

Nothing will be overclocked, and that is all I have in my computer, no duel harddrives, etc

I think 350 watts should be plenty, but this also depends on the quality of your PSU. I have an old enermax PSU and I think it's only 350 watts, and I've got a 9700 pro... Never given me any problems.

Voltage isn't the problem... You get whatever voltage that you hook up - if you hook it up to a 12 volt line then you get 12 volts.

The power supply can only offer so much amperage for a certain rail... If you are trying to draw more amperage than the PSU can offer then you will have serious problems. There is a sticker on the PSU that tells you how much amperage the PSU is rated for on each of its rails.

BTW... How many drives do you have? 1 HDD, how many CD/DVD drives?

Everything I have in it is listed above. Except for the stock cpu fan that comes with the xp2200.

Ill have to check the amperage tomorrow.

The sticker doenst say anything about amperage.
