Ok I am building a computer for my friend. This isn't really a gaming comp but its a work computer. He is going to start some video editing bussiness. Anyways we were thinking about doing a raid 5 setup with 3 80 gig harddrives. Do you think that Raid 5 is the best solution for speed vs reliabilty. I would think about raid 0 for video editing but he wants some data security so I thought about a fault tollerant raid 5.
So if Raid 5 is the answer then whats a good controller card? these are SATA drives btw. Thx
