Barton 2600 with 256 cache??

When in WCPUID (the latest download) or Prime 95 it shows I only have 256 worth of L2 chache. The core is a Barton so, are the programs screwing up or am I only getting half the cache or what?

are you sure its a barton and not a thorton? If it says AXDA2600DVK4D then its a screwed up barton. And I suggest you replace it ASAP

I didn't think 2600s were ever produced with the barton core; just thoroughbreds with 333MHZ FSB.

You should really start reading these forums more often The 2600+ Bartons have been here for a while now

2600 barton a dream for now, mind you if i could get a 2600 on 266 fsb that would be good! think my board will take it
