I am O/Cing a PIII600 on an Abit BE6-II, w/
PC 100 sdram, and all-in-wonder 128.

I got FSB 110 w/ no problem, and FSB 112 one time w/o problem. I go up to FSB 114 and reboot and it loads windows (my desktop comes up) and starts loading icons on the taskbar.

The second it loads the last icon, the computer freezes up.

I do not think this is caused by my ram or video card, because i wouldn't think it would go so far as to finish windows startup.

Could this be a Win98 glitch? I have even changed my PCI to 1/4, and no difference?
CPU temp. at 39C.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I wouldn't bet against it being a memory problem. Once the tray finishes loading, and it goes to the next program it may be more memory intensive and crash it. Try booting in safe mode and see if it goes further. Also 39c is a little high without a cpu load.
