i think i found a good 2100+ stepping today

earlier today i was at my little hole in the wall local computer store. well, sitting there like a sad puppy in a window, i find a retail AXDA2100DUT3C AIUHB0304MPMW...now is this a good stepping to OC? i think ive heard that this should be a really good OCing chip. would it be wise for me to get my arse down there and pick it up tomorrow? whats the potential of this chip?

Not sure if it's any help but my AIUHB 0250 MPM hit 2405 (185*13) with the same zalman cooler you use and never broke 48C load.

I'd pick it up. It should do 2.3GHz with ease just like the rest of the 2100 AIUHB chips.

I would get it i'm running one now at 210X12 @34c idle 40C load on water.

ok guys, i got the chip today, but i wont be able to install it till later this week

its going in my 8RDa+. i need some memory for it too, everything else is taken care of. any particular kind of memory i should be looking for? newegg is sold out of the buffalo BH-5 sticks.

Mushkin Black Level 2 will take you the furthest as they're BH-5 chips backed by great PCB.
