Does it exist an adapter for PPGA to Socket 7?
I thinking of upgrading to only one CPU on my BP6 and then my cels would be useless...
So maybe I could use my cel500 PPGA on my fathers Asus P5A socket7 mobo.

Powerleap.com makes an adaptor for the AMD K6-3 series, don't know if they sell it without the cpu. They might be able to tell you if someone makes one though.

Why would you give up a processor? The BP6 is pretty sweet with 2.

Using the powerleap S370 adapter on the BP6 with dual P3 FC-PGA is still very uncertain to work in SMP or not. So only one p3 will surely work (and besides...I can't afford buying two :( ).

Thx 4 the tip.
