How hot is too hot?

I have oc'd my p3 500 to 575 but the temp went to 148f which is about 65c in mech2. also the system will reboot sometimes. Is this because i havent upped the voltage or is it too hot? I dont really want to fry it yet. I have the stock heatsink / fan and 3 chassis fans one in 3 out.

65c is pretty damn hot! It seems that many Intel cpus start to get squirrely around 45-50c. You need more cooling. Increasing Vcore will cause the temps to go up fast on some cpus, and overclocking makes them go up as well.
