I've got a problem with my RAID array, it keeps loosing files!
I've got 2 160Gb Hitachi SATA disks connected to my on-board SiI3220(?) SATA controller on my Abit NF7-S.
Running NTFS under Win2k, the RAID array is partitioned in smaller chunks, too.
Every so often it'll do a CHKDSK while starting, and last night, it lost one of the windows files, so my system BSODs on me before startup?
I think it could be cos the controller chip is getting a bit too warm?
Has anyone else had similar experiences with the same controller or hard disks?
Any further ideas... I broke one of the RAM lugs a while back, and abit said I've invalidted the warranty, so no hopes to RMA the boards.
For other system specs, check my sig... BTW is running at 10x200MHz @ the mo, in case is different below.
