Hi, im getting a trifle annoyed by the 3d mark scores in excess of 10,000 that seem to be popping up everywere . Can someone tell me the best way to get this score i know i need a gforce ultra but should i keep my 6e and get a new mobo+150ram or get p4. id prefer a pentium system
currently: p3600e,gigabyte ga6vx4x,256megs micronpc133ram,3d prophetddr, maxtor 15gig,7200hd,this runs beutifully,27c under load,i can boot windows at 152fsb but crash 3d apps,142 is more stable but cant get through 3d mark.mobo only allows fsb's of 133,142,152 . i have the money too spend but im afraid of wasteing it on an 8e that wont do 133fsb.any suggestions? thanx.

you did not mention what core volts u r running, if not maxed out already I would suggest to bump the volts a little...1.75 should be safe to try with adequate cooling....I'm @ 1.9v

i think my board sets the core automaticly depending on fsb setting because at 133(where am now)it is 1.70at 142(next available dip switch setting) the core falls to 1.65 but seems too move around a bit at 152(only other setting available via dipswitch)i think it goes to 1.63 but im not sure. Any way ther doesnt seem to be anything in bios that allows me to raise the core voltage unless im not using the right keys. i figured my ram was probably to blame for lack of stability at 142,152 fsb.so how do i up the voltage if not in bios?is their software,or a jumper or what? thanks again.
