Here is my current system:
Abit BE6-II - latest bios - 1.65 cpu voltage and 3.3 I/O voltage. 1/4 PCI & 2/3 AGP setting when trying to run at133mhz fsb.
PIII 550e
Mushkin PC133 256mb rev 1.5 CAS2
IBM deskstar 75gxp 30gb
VisionTek Geforce2 GTS
Sound blaster live value
Toshiba 32x CD-rom drive
TDK rewriter

I am having some new problems with my system and wonder if anyone can please help, I listed my system above. I just got the new hard drive, video card and burner about 2 months ago and when I put all of them in the system, I could run fine at 133mhz fsb in all games except Unreal tournament. I just got some new memory last month from Mushkin and things were still fine. But about 2 weeks ago I installed NHL2001 and could NOT run it over 110mhz fsb. Now all my games lock up at anything over the default of 100mhz!! Could the processor or video card be flaky from running them at 133 for over a month or is there some setting in the bios that I can try to set to make this stable? Should I reinstall Win98SE and see if that works or does this sound like a motherboard problem? Should I try flashing my bios with older bios updates? I would think that the new Geforce2 could handle the high AGP setting, at least that's what I have seen. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Sounds like the last game loaded a bad driver. Games are notorious for overwriting later version drivers you already have loaded with older ones.

I'm pretty sure that it isn't your BE6-2 that is your problem, and I'm sure that your GeForce can handle the high FSB's too.

You have also tried to up your core voltage, to maybe 1.75v, right?

I would try a clean install, if I were you.

Btw., what cooling do you have on this sucka?

Well I found out some pretty interesting things about my POS Abit board. First of all my problems came from the dimm slots, I had one 128mb stick in the first dimm slot and one in the second. I took the one from the second slot and put it in the third slot and whala, it booted up without a problem at 133fsb (733mhz)! I had both my rewriter and older cdrom drive disconnected from the board to make sure they weren't causing the problem. Once I got the thing to boot up at 733, I shut it down and tried to install both of my cdrom drives. When I started it back up, I got a windows protection error :-(, so I shut it down and disconnected my old cdrom drive. That was causing the windows protection error. So if you are having problems similar to this, just try to move your RAM around and make sure all your other **** is removed before blaming the processor or video card. Thanks for all the suggestions, I did bump up the IO voltage to 3.4 and the cpu voltage to 1.7, that has kept it pretty stable so far. I did notice my temperature went up to 41 degrees celcius/107 farenheigt, does that seem about right or is it a little high? Before when I was not overclocking it was around 95 degrees F and 36 C. It doesn't seem that high to me, but I just want to make sure I don't burn the thing up! Thanks again...

Temps sound ok it could be cooler. I wouldnt worry those are perfectly safe voltages.
