View Full Version : Need some advice
Hi All, I'v got a C2 667@ 950 (95FSB),P3V4X,256megs of pc133 micron,V3,3000.Gorb.Runs idol at 30cFull load at 41-43c.My question is this since I wont be hitting 100FSB(Wont post past 95FSB) Does the 5 mhz make that much of a difference? I'm pretty new to this and I'v gotten conflicting views so far, Thx for any comments.

Actualy it would be a 50mhz diff, you have a 10x multiplier, right? if I'm right, then u r at 950mhz now, and if you could do 100fsb, then you would be at a gig, I haven't heard of many celly's going that high...they seem to top out at around 900 to 950, but u might have a lucky one.
50mhz would make a difference, but I couldn't say if you'd notice it or not..personaly I think it would.
Have you tried bumping up the vcore a bit more, celeron's that scream and moan when trying to get the last drop out of them tend to like a little more voltage to convince them. Just a thought, so try upping the vcore a little bit and you may be able to post at the Magical 1GHz :)
I'm sorry,i should have been more clear on what I was asking,I meant 5 mhz on the FSB not the cpu. otherwords does it make much oo a difference between a 95 fsb or a 100fsb? thx again

What folks like about that 5MHz difference is at 100 FSB all components are running right at spec.
