Socket 462 till 2006

Check this out , hope I read this right!

In fact, the lifetime of the Athlon XP processors for both 462-pin and 754-pin sockets it stretched till 2006.

Read correctly but the A64's in 754 will be last made in 2nd/3rd quarter of next year before the 754 is then used for the "budget" non A64 processors. As for socket 462 I cant see where they are coming from with that - I really cant see the Barton extending to 2006 in 0.13 micron format - especially if their other processors sell well and with AMD wanting to increase asp's.

S'up Detective, how have you been? I second about Bartons not being made in 2006.

Also, the 754 XPs, Q3 for 2800+ and Q4 for 3000+ is way to late, I'm thinking Q2 2004 at the very latest for the first 754 XP, change it?
