Heya I was wondering if I am better off exchanging my 667eb for a 700e as I've heard the 700e's are great o\cers ? I was going to buy the 933eb until I saw the price was just to ridiculous. The store I bought my 667eb from 5 month's ago is willing to exchange it for the 700e for only $40.00 difference is it worth my while?
Will I hit 933 with the 700?
Please lemme know I wanna maybe do the exchange tommorow.
Thanx

Many 700's will do 933 with no voltage increase! some 1Ghz+ at up to a risky 1.9v.
You need to fine out the stepping of the actual CPU you will own and look it up on the "CPU database" on overclockers.com homepage to find out how overclockable people think it is.
Good luck
My preference would be for the 700. It is just about the perfect combination of multiplier vs FSB to keep things happy. I have a cb0 @1GHz on a BF6 and 2 cc0's @1GHz on a VP6, all using Alpha cooling. The cc0 seems to be the happier of the two at this speed. Many get to 933 without any problems, and quite a few go higher.

Thanx for your response !
Any other opinions out there?
667@133fsb vs 700@100fsb Which has more potential the 667 only does 740 in my machine[148fsb]!
