View Full Version : Which pin mod for me?...Bartons and K7D
Got a pair of XP2500s and want to use them on the K7D.
I did the L5 mod, now which pin mod do you guys suggest I use based on www.ocinside? I'd like them to run about 2100mhz if possible.

i moded myn for 15 now at a fsb of 144 they run at 2160 mhz
if u want to run at stock fsb then a pin mod of 16 could be done that would be 2128

Go for 15X and work from there.

Use method 4, plugging wire into the sockets.
mine are at 17 and sailing smoooth

I am in the process of finishing my own K7D install and I started at 15x.
At 100Mhz you will get 1500, 133Mhz will give you about 2000Mhz, and using the BIOS I have been able to raise the FSB all the way to the max. (150Mhz) so that gave me 2250Mhz which is not too bad to start with given that I am using air cooling :-)
