The clip on my Bh-7 that holds that northbridge heatsink to the motherboard just broke and I was wondering what everyone thought I should do. I would rather just get a better cooler on the northbridge, but it looks like all p4 n/b coolers need that clip to attach to the m/b.

Epoxy is terrible compared to AS5 with sprins holding it down.

I think there's a thread somewhere about how people used zip ties to fix it.

Did the loop break or did it just pull out of the motherboard?

If it broke, I would RMA the board. If it just pulled out of the board, remove the mobo, insert the two ends of the loop back through the board, and solder it at the two locations on the backside of the mobo.

Thanks to super glue I got it back together and it seems to be working fine. One question though, what temps is everyone getting for the northbridge? On hardware doctor it is the last temp guage isn't it. I'm at 39 idle and 58 load.
