I need to raise the voltage to 1.95 to get it stable in windows

at 1.9 windows boots and some benchmarks run, but most games do not !!!!!!!!

the problem ist that at 1.95 it get very hot (my alpha PEP66 cools it to 30-38 Degrees celsius). I cannot close my case because it gets to hot otherwise and then games crash if the cpu reaches more thgan 40 degrees celsius,........

i have the asus p2b mainboard anything i can change there to get the cpu to run stable at a lower voltage ???

THanX !!!

I have a Cel2-600 and i had it at 900. After running SiSoft Sandra I found out that since my CPU originally was a 66Mhz the AGP divider was set to 1/1, which means my GeForce was running at 100Mhz instead of 66. My mobo had a jumper to manually set the AGP to 2/3 and now it works. Seems the autodetect just focus on the original CPU fsb speed. I was now able to lower the voltage from 1.9 to 1.8 and temps dropped to 29 at full load with a NoName cooler. Try setting AGP divider to 2/3 manually and lower voltage.

my card runs at 2/3 (had a 300@450)

i would really like to go down with the voltage but windows is not stable at 1.9,...so i need the 1.95 (it is not really 1.95 more like 1.925)

THX anyway

Ive got almost the same set up as yours - but Im running 105 FSB on my celly 633 @1.85V
I can use 1.80v but it wouldnt be stable in games.

if you have tried everything - it could be that that CPU is maxed on air cooling. - you'll have to go peltiers or H20 go join the GHZ club
see my settings and pic on the australian board
