Alright so after turning from a gamete into a N00b i have made some plans for my new case
My current system is this:
P4 3.06 with the 533mhz bus on an Asus p4t533c
I have a gig of 1066 rdram
and random drives and such
write now it is water cooled by the pump is messed up so it doesnt do very well
i ordered a new pump and i want to make my own case
the dimensions (hopefully) will be this: 17x19x10
and i want to make it entirely out of diamond plate steel
i want the drives stealthed
and i want to put a modded dehumidifer in the bottom to chill my water
while this is really really general i meant it that way so as to get some good tips, i plan on doing much of this over the upcoming holiday since i am a student

Thanks for any help

well, i hope you've got some big power tools cause diamondplate isnt so easy to work with, although i have seen it done. what you may be better off doing is hacking up two regular sized cases, putting them together and making a new skin for them out of the diamondplate steel. that would be great. post some pics of the materials, give us a feel for what you're cookin with

i have lots of tools or know people who do, i inherited alot of industrial strenght tools, for example an acetylene torce, a .22 caliber blank using nail gun, and a drill that you use to go through concrete, (those are the coolest ones i tihnk theres lots more)

Why don't you think about using lexan or something easier to use?

Hell who wants easy, I say go for it, but i think you should take smirabi's advice and use the skeleton of another case, it would look just the same as if you had built the whole thing yourself if not better.
