hello...i received my coolmaster IHC-H71 i connected my 3 pin fan connector into my p4pe motherboard but my bios and pc probe is reading 2500 rpm. the part# on the fan is A7025-25RB-3AN-P1 , MGT7012LR-A25 , 12v 0.12a
so did they put the wrong fan on or do i need to connect it different

thx jetlag

wat size is it? if its around 80 mm or something, just not incredibly small like 40mm, it sounds about right, 2500 rpm because of the low current draw, only .12 amps

Heres the specs: Sounds like you got a bum fan! If you have a digital volt meter you can back probe the +red ,-blk wires on the fan connecter at the mobo header to see if the fan is getting 12 volts. I presume you didn't have this prob before installing this HSF. THE FANMAN:cool:
