Not sure but they are on a 1 month cycle now i think... 12 driver updates a year :)

Yea, this download is borked. It cruises at 350kpbs+ then just stops at 18.9 meg.

Update now there is something dodgy..... I was installing it then it was about to install the drivers when it stopped with a INF error saying cannot find Video card etc.... Looked in the top left hand corner where it says the Drive setup name etc..... its says 'Windows XP 64Bit'....Whats up with that???
Edit- Fixed it, just right clicked on the setup for the drivers and set the compatibility to 'Windows XP' ;)...

These drivers still have problems with my config.
All seems well until i reboot myself after everthing is configured and then the computer doesn't even get to the login screen and reboots itself. I have had this problem ever since the cat 3.9.
Downloaded them fine. Installed them fine. They haven't blown anything up yet, so it's all good.

They fixed a few problems I was having in halo, thumbs up now on them.

Has anyone tried the AIW network streaming features that were supposed to be included in 3.10? I've just downloaded 3.10, but still have 3 PCs to install them on, one of which is a 9000 AIW.
*edit* Looks like Eazyshare didn't make into this release :(

Just installed and uninstalled the 3.10's...did anyone try to play Q3 and a few older games and benchmarks using the 3.10's and get errors?
Even reinstalling the games gave me the same errors...tried the 3.10's a few times and still the same results...went back to the 3.09 omegas and everything was fine...so I will be staying with the 3.09 omegas for now...

installed the softmod drivers yesterday.no problems so far
Still didn't find time to d/l them and test.
Ppl post some feedback, how are they compared to older versions?
Image quality, performance, stability??
In installed at 3pmest and sofar no problems with them at all only rased you 3dMark01 by 300 points.
well that 300 points increase could of helped the 30K barrier :P... but it has been broken so its ok now...... :P

Have played Seriouse Sam and call of duty. They work like butter. Got a modest increase in 2001 and 2003. Around 250pts. Image quality is awesome as always with the driver and hardware.
Am going to test with Aquamqrk later.

I played a couple of hours of Enemy Territory. I'll give 3dmark01/03 and aquamark a shot this evening. :thup: so far.

A new Catalyst doesn't usually add to 3DMark01, unless ATI's driver team got a change in focus recently. The best 3DMark01 drivers are usually the older ~3.2 Cats.
3DMark03 had a noticable increase though.

Got the 3.10's, installed without a hitch, working well so far.
3DMark01 went up about 300 points compared to the 3.7's. 3DMark03 only went up about 40 points.

Been reading up on them at XS...the 3.2's are still the best for benching except when it comes to nature...but the 3.10's boost the nature scores to what they should be...but lower the rest...so hopefully ATI can get a nice blend the next time around...and still havent gotten any answer if people have tried to bench using Q3 after installing them...not on any of the forums I have posted that question too :mad:
Working great so far :) In fact, I hadn't updated my control panel since the 3.6's so now I get to play around with all the cool features :D
Basically no change on my 03 score, or in IQ.

i got 800 more 3d mark points
the biggest bonus is my CPU temp dropped 10 degrees
Well, I just played Quake III for 20 minutes w/ everything full w/o a hitch, if that's any consolation.

Is anyone having any problems with Madden 2004 with this Catalyst? Everyone past the 3.7 has crapped out on me
Installed the 3.10's without a problem on my 9800 pro. My 3dMark03 went up 375 points. Other than that it seems the same. Steve

In the relese Notes they said they fixed the madden2004 bug. It should be fine. Atleast i hope so for your sake.

OK now I am having another problem
I cannot get my 9500 to TRULY mod...i am using the ones off ocfaq.com
(harryinny3 thanx for the info...i tested it and it works now...strange how ATI said that there were ABSOLUTELY no problems with Madden 2004 about 2 weeks ago, that it had to be my setup)

Try the 3.9 omegas...I have no problem playing Madden 2004 with the omega drivers...

OK. Glock the 3.9's caused problems with the fans (audience of games) on my 9500 with anything past 3.7s...UNTIL NOW!!! I finally have my card modded...albeit it took 3 uninstalls but it is now working flawlessly.
Now my only question is...should my scores be higher... I am scoring around 15200 with my 9500 modded o/c @ 306/288

Is killing mine. I get 14300 with my rig. So id say your fine. That score will Go alot further up if you Get a faster proggy. I wish i could get 15000 or so. My scores have gone up since 3.7 drivers though. The omegas are fine, But ive found they are geared more towards the IQ instead of speed. Also I like the profiles in the Cat drivers. Until Omega used Cats profile option, Ill stick with cats. Dont get me wrong, But I really do like the Omegas. Loved the 3.7 ones.
Your modded card will run fine with the 3.10 cats. Having a mod doesnt mean you have to use Omega drivers. All they do is mod the card for you if you want.
Glad madden is working. Is it any better than on the 3.7's?

crap, the new drivers crashed my oced 9600pro like i dunno why, but i think i fixed it ramping up the voltage to 1.8, i might just change back to the drivers made to fix call of duty

Correct...the omega drivers come with the soft mod drivers...
Plus the omega drivers are totally different then the regular ATI drivers which is why I mentioned to ManOfKnight about using the 3.9 omega drivers...

BBA 9700 Pro. Ran a small map w/ full bots for maximum carnage and gore. Lots of blood clouds and fragments to draw.

The 3.10 drivers fixed the call of duty hang. Its in the relese notes. My 9600 pro is running fine. Ya maybe have to back down the OC about 5mhz I had to back down to 432/320. Still get better 2003 score than with the 3.9 drivers. Plus game play is ultra smooth.

guess the new 3.10's dont like the 9200 series cards...been checking around and talked to a few members at a few other forums and they had some issues with older games also and we are all running the 9200 series cards...oh well...I will wait for the 3.10 omegas to come out and see how they work...

ManofKnight, what drivers did you end up installing to get your mod to work completely? I have the same problem as you where the mod doesn't work 100%.

Strida I pm'd you where I got the driver. As for Omega...I am a religious user of their mods...although they do not have their Cat 3.10's out yet...I will switch to them when they get it out

MOK...if you see/hear of the 3.10 omegas before I do...please PM me...I have the next week off so hopefully they will come out before I go back to work...appreciate it...I hope they help out my issue with Q3 and a few other older games...

Installed the 3.10's lastnight. "Call Of Duty, Battlefield 1942, Need For Speed Underground, Prince Of Persia, Etc" all ran perfect. Battlefield 1942 I see the most improvement on, It runs alot better now and I no longer have this "Very Rare" choppy problem that occurs after playing for a while. Overall seems like an improvement over my last 3.7's

funny cause the COD demo consistently locked up with 3.10's...even my kids' Legos game did...no probs w/3.9s so that's where their system's at....9600Pro w/GiantII on a Gbyte 7N400L1 w/XP2000+ (200x10)...

im behind my 800mhz rig atm, so installing an ATi driver over a geforce isnt that smart afaik :lol:
jeez 3.10 giving me HUGE problems, 3.9 (fixed for call of cuty version ) gave me like no problems i gonna switch back soon

Id get lockups IN game with the 3.9 drivers.
I had to back down my OC on my card by 5mhz to run these.
I Loosend my timeings on my ram to 2.5-7-4-4-7 And i gaind 1000 or more points on 2001. I Hit 15000 for the first time ever, Actually i hit 15500! 2003 went up almost 1000 points to 3590 at default. I didnt know that loosening the timeings on my ram would do this. Very happy with these drivers.

But later the same darn day 3.10,s caused me probs playing the new Desert Combat 0.6 had to reinstall them again, but, I will give them another try before I make up my mind about them.
I am very new to ATI and Cat *** drivers. I have a 9800 Pro and installed the 3.9's when I got it. All ran fine, even with the card at 398/698 and my 2.4b at 3.06. I installed the 3.10's and started having some problems, I would get random reboots and sometimed just get kicked back to the desktop. I tried relaxing all my o/c's but that did not help. Rolled back to the 3.9's and all seems to be well again. Is this a common problem? From this thread it looks like most, not all, but most had good luck. Would trying the Omega 3.10's be any different than the ATI's?

I will give them a shot tomorrow night. Going to see ROTK tonight. I went to the Omega site and looked around at some of the tips. I learned a few thing there about settings that I did not know about running ATI's. I will see if changing them helps.
