What's the difference between these two steppings and why were they made? I know the cC0 Celeron's can run a lot stabiler and cooler when it's o/c'ed, and is easier to o/c, why is that? Is there a decreased performance on the cB0 celeron's (ex: like the Celeron 600Mhz) when it's o/c'ed? I'm just wondering why if both processors is the same thing, why one runs hotter and harder to o/c while the other runs cooler and stabiler and more easier to o/c.

Btw, I have a Celeron cB0 600Mhz @ 900Mhz 1.9v

Aey Henry dude,

Obviously as we know, the cC0s stepping type came after cB0s. The cC0s I guess you could say... it's "revised", more tweaked chip for more overclocking. Sorry I dont have the full detail answer to this but it's just like the RAMs from Mushkin for example.. Mushkin PC133 "Rev 1.2, 2, and 3" they are revised for higher performance. They happen to not make the perfect RAM in the first place. by the way I have the cC0 700E and it rocks! I luv it!
