Hi!
I have a MSI 6263pro mainbord. And Celeron 566@682 Mhz. But can't go any higher! I tried the CPU on a ABIT BE6-2 and with normal cooler it went to 1003 Mhz!!! So why can't I OC it on my MSI too 850?

Oh btw my system specs are:

Celeron 566@682 (SL46T)
128 PC133 Aopen
Msi 6163pro Mainboord (+bios update)
V3 3000 AGP
Monster MX300

So when I OC to 850 I get weird image quality.
And won't boot up in windows (win 98 SE)
I teste it with an ATI rage 128 (AGP) and then it booted up! Even at 1003 MHZ!!!
So if my V3 3000 is the problem... How could I fix it? Just buy antoher card or can it be solved?

Please help me!
Thnx!

theres so many combinations to why your MSI wont cut it.- of course - it doesnt help to compare the Abit BE6-II to it becasue its' breed to be stable @ higher speeds.

if your mobo can adjust core voltage - do that - try I/O volts too, get good PC100 ram - or PC133 if you can get it - - check your AGP settings - and you PCI too- any and all these should be in line to get a stable overclock going -

good luck

But I can't set the agp speed to 2/3 or 1/1 in the bios! Does the MSI board do it automatic?
Please anyone with the same mainboard?

Most MBs will automatically go to 1/3 and 2/3 at 100FSB. If there isn't an option to do so. Get SiSoft Sandra and see what it indicated for these settings.
