Hey all,

I got a 486 laptop, a gravis gamepad, and a mound of DOS games!! But my gamepad has the traditional joystick port on it and my lapper ain't got one. So would there be a way to use a port converter and run it through, say, the LPT1 or COM port? I would be drooling all over it if I could, probably enough to get in the laptop and break it.

Thanks!

I don't think so, but there are a number of consolde gamepad adapters for LPT ports (or guides how to make them) which could be run with DOS drivers.

Sega Genesis and SNES controllers can also be converted and will work more effectively than a joystick.
