250w Power supply enough?

Would anyone happen to know If my 250w ps is enough or should I maybe get a 300w or better?The reason I ask this is that when I run intensive benchmarks my case fans have a slightly different sound to them?[Yes their loud as hell but at least I know when their on! lol]

I wanna get my 700 to do more than 933@1.8v & have an alpha on they way to replace my Gorb and would like to know if the ps might be holding me back in anyway?

250W and intel boards is fine.

300W upgrades are good if u r thinking of crossing the bridge to AMD at some point and if u have some real sever **** to power - which u haven't.

I run 300W PSU in my machine but only because I got it powering my amplifier on a pass-thru.

It seems I'm getting quite good with the old electonics now !!!
