How is the ram over at newegg right now? i needed to grab about 1gb of pc3200 last time i looked into it (about 3 months ago), i was thinking about grabbin some good ol' buffalo sticks.

this stuff gonna do the trick or is there something nicer out now?

i think those are CH-5's although i'd perfer BH-5's, idk i just want something affordable and nice enough not to be disappointed lol.

If your quick, you may be able to purchase 1GB of HyperX PC3000 direct from Kingston.com for $184. It ought to have Winbond BH-5 chips, though as time wears on, it may not.

why pc3000 and not pc3200?

BH-5 chips are 5ns - DDR400 - "PC3200". Doesn't matter what advertised rating is given to them.
