splicing rpm sensors on fans

i just 7-volt modded my fans and i still have the rpm monitor cables on them. can i splice them together and plug them into the mobo? or would they interfere with each other?

If you splice 2 fan rpm signal wires it wont read right. You only want one fan rpm wire from one fan per mobo header.
