Just wondered if anyone can tell me there experience with hyper x pc3500, How high will it go and what timings are you using, I will be using them on an Nf7-s version 2.0 board with a 1700+ B that does 2500 watercooled.

It depends on what type of hyperX pc3500 you have. If it has bh-5 chips, well I have mine at 247 10 hrs memtest stable. If it has ch-5 then not that good from what I've been hearing.

I have ch-5 pc3500 and can run 2 512mb sticks in dual channel 223mhz at 2-2-3-5. Personally, I think the whole bh-5 thing is overrated.

perfectly stable at 240mhz 2-2-2-11 dual channel at 3v cpu int enable, one stick with kingston 4.5ns on slot 2 and one stick with winbond ch5 on slot 3
can bench 2d up to 250mhz, but it's a mobo limit...
will try soon another nf7, hope to be more lucky...

Try an Intel 865/875 chipset and you will find why bh5 is sought after.

I have about the same setup as you do with a 1700+ water cooled at 2579mhz with a NF7-S v2.0 at 11x234fsb. Have 2-256meg sticks Kingston PC3500 (024.A01) an they would run 230fsb at 2.93v (mbm). Mem timming 2-3-3-7. Have Kingston PC3200 non a version an runs better than the 3500. 230fsb at 2-2-2-11 at 2.93v.
