My second SL6Z3 is running on my P4P800 with 512MB Mushkin Level II PC-3500, 5:4 stable @ 281 FSB. Pack Date: 09/16/03


Both have the RAM timings at 2-2-2-6

Maybe if I set my RAM to 2-2-3-6 I'll be able to go higher on the P4P800.

nice job...how many volts you running those with?

Sounds like you have 2 very similar CPU's (including almost identical pack dates). Can you push either one of them any farther, although it is hard to complain about getting a 1 GHz overclock.

I run 1.625 in the BIOS on my P4C800, and I run 1.65 in the BIOS of my P4P800 - They both show up as actual ~1.6 Vcore in MBM though.

I think the one that just came in today has a tiny bit more potential since 1st of all, it hasn't burn in yet, second of all it has an slk-900 rather than an SP-94, arctic silver hasn't settled yet and case ventilation isn't as good.

I'm getting a prommy soon anyway :)
