Ooookay...
1) What HDD you using?
2) What voltage is on the CPU core?
3) How are you cooling your CPU?
4) How are you cooling your case?
5) Lastly, what stepping is your CPU - cBO or cCO? (check your s-code vs. the chart).
For reference, I have a cCO stepping 667 at 1030 MHz at 100 MHz FSB (turbo mode) & 1.85 volts core. Stability was greatly enhanced through use of 100 FSB, since nothing other than the CPU runs out of spec. At 83 MHz, your PCI, AGP & IDE buses are wildly out of spec, resulting in overclocked video card & HDD. This might be where your problem lies.
Your mobo seems to be an unknown quantity with regard to overclocking, since most of us are using Abit, Asus, Soyo, etc.
mine is running @ 875 ,83 FSB ,100 fsb is a bad idea wont even load
