AMD 2600 on Asus A7N8X Deluxe

I am new to the AMD world, and I am trying to bring my CPU up to optimal speed. I am currently at 1.24GHz with and AMD 2600 on a Asus A7N8X Deluxe MB.

I have tried adjusting some settings such as Aggressive but I can't seem to get the right combo. Does anyone have any suggestions or guidelines as to how to correctly set the cpu speed, voltage, etc.

Welcome, settings are different for different mobos and BIOSes.
Most of us found out from the mobo manuals where they are.

By the way none of the three kinds of 2600+s run at 1.24 GHz.

I'd read the mobo manual, or download a pdf manual from mobo manufacturer web site, + maybe read something like this:

before running your system at different speeds.

What you want to do is Load Optimal settings to start.
