I have an intel motherboard with a 75mhz processor. I am both trying to find out what kind of board I have and how do I go about trying to overclock it to it's peak. The cpu is a Hewlett Packard Pavilion. I am running Windows 98 SE but the bios in it won't allow me to overclock it because it doesn't offer a multiplier setup and it also doesn't have the schematics for my motherboard. PLEASE HELP??????

Find a mobo identifier utility, there are several. I don't have the web addresses but they are out there and I have had to use them. Get ready to accept the fact you may not be able to o/c on that motherboard though. Once it is identified you can find a roadmap for the thing hopefully and know for certain. Sorry, thats all I can offer. I have a couple of 100Mhz myself that I would like to do something with. Cozy
