suggest any timing for ram...

hi i have 1 gig of from infinion and 2 other major brand companys, can anyone suggest some timings?

wel if youre over 166 mhz FSB I think your mem wont work with cas2 so try using 2.5-2-2-6 or 7, if you have problems try 2.5-2-3-7... GL

i didnt change it to what spacifically said but its close (dont wanna risk my ram just yet) but anyways to the point, it gave me a nice 200point increase in 3dmark 2k1

lower the timings untill it starts to make errors.. what brands are the other sticks youve got?

some brands with bh-5 chips can do 2-2-2-6 at 200mhz

the other 2 are hynix i think, i cant check because there are ram syncs on all my ram

yes... just make sure the fourth timing (tRAS i believe) is higher than the others... CAS + tRcD + 2 =tRAS i believe.. so with 2-2-2 it should be 6, with 3-4-4 it should be about 8
