View Full Version : Cel600 oc to 900 benchmarks?
I just ordered a pretested kit and am wondering what the scisift sandra benchmarks are for this cpu running at 900. Would anyone be kind enough to post or link to some please. I'll be installing this in an Abit BH6 ver 1.0 with 128 mb pc100 ram, something similair would be great. I'll just be using this for gaming hopefully it'll be ok for that. Input anyone?
Thx

Hi there,
Just bought a Cel2600@900 last week and it's been running great. I used Sisoft Sandra 2000 for these scores:
CPU - 2494 MIPS
FPU - 1211 MFLOPS
Integer MMX - 2834 it/s
Floating-point FPU - 3733
Specs: Cel2 600@900, 1.75v Golden Orb, 440BX/ZX chipset, 128 MB PC-100 RAM

I don't know what version of sandra you were using, but here is what I got with 2001.
Dhrystone ALU = 2443 MIPS
Whetstone FPU = 1215 MFLOPS
Integer SSE = 4818 it/s
Floating-Point SSE 6003 it/s
Int ALU/RAM Bandwidth = 251 MB/s
Float FPU/RAM Bandwidth = 267 MB/s
(using wpcredit to get around mem problems with this chipset)
Thx! cant wait to get mine now. I'm running a cel300a @ 504 and have been very happy with the OC deal. Guess I'll put this guy out to pasture....

Those ALU and FPU scores seem low
Those posting all look about right (mine are with 2001 Sandra)......

Why are all your scores higher than mine? I get 2310 ALU and 1144 FPU. But everytime, it says my processor is "Intel Celeron @ 896Mhz" below the scores. I noticed that BTTHR's screenshot of his benchmark, it says @ 902. Which is probably why his scores, is higher than mine. This might not make much of a difference in performance, but I'm wondering why I mine rates at a lower speed, causing me to have lower scores. You can check out the attachment of my benchmark scores.

After a bit more tweaking in wpcredit and closing some apps that were open, my scores went up a tiny bit
Dhrystone ALU = 2484 MIPS
Whetstone FPU = 1216 MFLOPS
Integer SSE = 4896 it/s
Floating-Point SSE = 6004 it/s
Int ALU/RAM Bandwidth = 260 MB/s
Float FPU/RAM Bandwidth = 281 MB/s
Chipset on my mobo is the Apollo Pro 133 as well.
