ATI 9800Pro HeatSink On NB?

I modified a stock AMD 2000+ HS (with the tiny fins) for my NB. I use it as a passive HS. But I'm wondering how well you guys think the 9800 Pro's HS and fan mounted to the NB would do. The bolt pattern isn't the same is it? I would have to drill them myself yes?

Well I use the gold Zalman passive cooler on my NB and it works wonders. I really don't think a fan on your NB is needed if you have good case airflow.

Ok, I'll continue using my modded HS passively, it has more surface area anyhow.

I wouldve said use the heatsink anyways , more fins = better cooling , slap a low rpm fan on top if u feel the need .!!
