Just read on Slashdot (http://slashdot.org) about some new software that allows you to run programs on your GPU. Would be great for DC projects like F@H and Seti.

This could be very well implemented if you had several old PCI cards.

And with GPU's up to 256Bit or 512Bit.... should make a boost in performance :P

i dont think that graphics cards are very good for that kind fo operation. and also, for dedicated machines, i think there are better ways to spend your money.

i wonder how long itll be till they release fah with that new software anyway? maybe boinc will ahve it.

I wanna try this, but my programming knowledge is limited.
