Can things with B connect to G?

Ok, I am getting a wireless game adaper from linksys ( http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?grid=33&scid=38&prid=550 ) and was wanting to make sure I can connect to a G router before getting it. Can B be on a G network?

Yes. That is a benefit of the 'G' format.

a b router or wap will talk to a g nic but only at b speeds

and a g router or wap will talk to a b nic but only at b speeds (and on some routers/waps it will slow down all wireless connections on its end iirc)
