I have a Cognac socket 370 motherboard with an intel celeron 466 and 810 chipset. I've been reading up on OC'ing and a have a farely decent grasp on what to do. Problem is, my comp. manufacturer will not send me a manual unless I pay 25 bucks for it, and I cannot find Cognac online anywhere. I even went to a site with manuals for motherboard makers that don't exist anymore. It's not there either. I am just about to give up. Someone please help!
i searched around but could not find anything on a cognac board. you might want to double check the manufacturer by the bios id numbers. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/mboard.html is a place to start. hope this helps a little

Ok, I just want to say that you are a lifesaver and I have no idea how you found this file. As hard as I've been looking, you must have been at it for a while now, thanks! There's one problem though: When I try to download the file; nothing happens. I just get returned to the same exact page I clicked on to download the file. I've tried right-click, save target as, and right click open link. Nothing. Anywhere else this file might be? I really appreciate all of the help. This forum has some of the most polite people in it. Most people won't get involved in something if it doesn't benefit them. Everyone here is different(With the exception of a very few people.) Anyway, I'm done rambling, and I appear to be in the same spot I was before. Help!

Okay, after trying for a while, the file finally downloaded. Enter problem 42,345,287.3 in my overclocking odyssey: Whenever I try to open the file(a word pad file) I either get an illegal error message, or wordpad opens up and doesn't display anything. When the latter happens, if I click on ANYTHING when word pad is opened, I get a message that says the program is too busy to do this or that, and to click on the corresponding program in the tast bar. I am so glad it's not this hard to fine tune my vehicles performance; or I would be driving 12 mph. Constantly.

Hermfry, I dl'd the file , unzipped it and it opened fine in microsoft Word. It was 58% compressed so its close to if not over a meg uncompressed. I believe it's just too big for WorPad. If you don't have Word for windows, ask a friend to open it with their copy. Or if you have MS works or other word processor I would be glad to try and convert it for you.
