Would a retail Tualatin HSF be able to cool an 1800+ at stock speed? I ask because I have a system (minus the hsf) ready to go and an extra Intel Tualatin hsf. I don't want to spend any more $$ this month, but I don't want to wait either. If not, I'll get a newer retail amd cooler to tide me over until I can buy a slk-900/smart fan II combo. Thanks.

if you can fit it on there it will work fine. just watch your temps... and if you have to you can always underclock the chip.
