Within the next week or so I am planning on buying a few upgrades for my system, and yes, one of them is a new video card but you all know how it is to be a poor 16 year old. Anyways, I am torn between two CPUs, the Athlon XP 2700+ and the Athlon XP 2800+. The 2700+ is somewhere around 100 MHZ faster, but the 2800+ has 512 L2 Cache. Now, do you think that double the cache would be the better choice? I think it would be, but mind you the 2800+ is almost $30 more than the 2700+. Anyways, I just thought I'd ask you all here and see what you guys thought before I made any decision.

Hrm depends what you are going to do with the machine. If you are going to be ocing I would say neither, and recommend either a 2500+ barton or a 1700+ or 1800+ JIUHB DLT3C.

A-ha but rememebr if you don't have PC3200 RAM, Bartons are locked now so for PC2100 and PC2700 RAM, it's 2100+ T-Bred B, unless you can actually find 1700+ or 1800+ DLT3C B (not A).
