Hi,
I'm a bit of a memory noob, so all advice is welcome :)

Does anyone know if either of these modules comes with BH-5 chips and is compatible with an Abit NF7-S motherboard?

Thanks in advance!

You can't really be sure in advance...

My personal preference is the HyperX from Kingston. But I do not know Twister, nor their usual quality.

Cheers, Flix

I think the chance of getting a KHX3500 with BH5 is pretty slim nowadays, but why not go with the KHX3200?

Don't think Twisters ever had BH5(correct me if I am wrong).

Kingston KHX3200 (BH-5) 5-2-2-2 even 4-2-2-2
Kingston KHX3200A (CH-5) 5-3-2-2 max !
, both are working just fine in NF7-S (2.0) with Dual Chanel, 2.6 V

Twister just fine too DDR 400 = 5-3-2-2

Twinmos ussualy cheaper, got the money !!! KINGSTON !! no doubt

Thanks for all the feedback :D

nicotine, I can buy either KHX3500K2/1G (DDR433) or KHX3200AK2/1G (DDR400) HyperX modules... by what you said I think the DDR400 modules are CH-5 and DDR433 modules are BH-5... is this right?

Also, what is the average overclock each chip (BH-5 & CH-5) can do?

I want to run my NF7-S Rev.2 & XP2500 at 230 FSB if possible... Is it likely either of these modules will do that at 2.8v or less and tight timings?

Suma, does the "A" rule apply to all speeds with regard to which chips will be on the module?

I can get KHX3500K2/1G (DDR433) modules... these are not the "A" variaty as you can see, does that mean they'll have BH-5 chips?

I have now found another options, 512MB sticks of DDR370 HyperX. These don't come in a Dual Channel Kit in my area, how likely is it that they will run in Dual Channel with no errors?

My options are below:
2x512 DDR370 HyperX (KHX3000/512)
2x512 DDR400 HyperX Dual Channel Kit (KHX3200AK2/1G)
2x512 DDR433 HyperX Dual Channel Kit (KHX3500K2/1G)

Which of these would be the best choice for 230+FSB, Dual Channel, and tightest timings?
