I tried to overclock my c600@900 at 1.7v without success, no bootup, someone can help me?
I read that it's difficult a c600 can work at 900, what are the other possible overclock right for me?
The system temperature @600 is around 45C or 113F, is better another cooler?
Many thank's for support

hi,
45°c is a litlle high but not bad for an cel600 !

try to get 75 or 83 Mhz FSB on your board !
dont begin with 100 =)

The best method is to start low and work your way up. Try 75 or 83FSB first. 45c is pretty warm for a coppermine that is not overclocked- do you have thermal grease between the cpu die and heatsink?

I think you will find that a better heatsink is going to be required to achieve 100FSB with any stability. Many coppermines become somewhat picky at 45c and above- mine do for sure.

You will likely need more Vcore voltage to achieve 100FSB- my 533a needs 1.85v to reach 107-112FSB, and I don't think it would be stable at 1.7v at 100.

First of all thank's for your support,
I've tried with 75 or 83 but the temperature goes over 75°c during bootup and after it's around 60°c :-(
I think the only way it's to replace the cpu fan with a real cpu cooler.

I've thermal grease between the cpu die and heatsink
and not too much, but I suppose that I need a real cpu cooler, because trying with 75 and 83 the temperature goes over 75c during bootup and after around 60c.
