will this product (http://www.kdcomputers.com/eui/prime/profile/1088.htm) make the data transfer rate of an IDE hard drive that of an SATA hard drive?...What exactaly does it do?:cool:

That apapter will allow you to run an ATA HD on a SATA connector (either a SATA controller card or a SATA connector on your motherboard). It won't magically make your drive faster (honestly it may slow it down slightly)

As a matter of fact the rated data transfer on you drive is it's limit and currently there is no way to OC your hd speed (correct me if i'm wrong). I wonderd over this product whilst on eBay and the seller suggest that it would boost transfer speeds -again another selling tactic.
