Hey i just got a new Dell P4 1.4ghz with 128mb RDRAM and it runs slower than it should. Does anyone know anyway that i could overclock this to make it run the speed that it should or maybe faster?

Yea...take it back to Dell and get your cash. Bring it to me or one of he other oldtimers that know how to build good, stable systems.

On Dells website they have a P4 for 1500-1600 dollars. Just think of what you could have built for 1600.00 USD!

My god the more I think about it the more that I say DAMN BRO, YOU GOT SCREWED!

1600.00 to start.

PIII 800 retail (for the 3 year warranty) I will get it to 1164.

Tidal cooler

72 watt peltier

A GREAT CASE (http://www.pc-com.com/shop.asp?date=1/2/91) go to the 3rd one down. This is the one that I got from these people. I live in Indy.

GeForce ULTRA

2 IBM 40 gigs in RAID

Epox BX7+100 (best board you can get at this time for a PIII 800)

The water cooling you would not ever ee outside of this case. Just thought that you should know.
Back to the show.

256 Crucial or Cosair

Plextor 12/10/32

Kenwood 72x

floppy

Sound Blaster (take your pick)

I know...I hve the system that I just describes. Plus...My T-Bird system and a celly2 system that is here to...all in the same room.

Disclaimer...I am 24 years old and enjoy having nice toys. No, I do not really need 4 computers in one room...the other is a p1 200mmx also known as my router for the cable connection! I do not suggest that you do this your self becouse you wife/girlfriend/ (my case) the woman that you have shared a house with for 3 years will get very pissed and hide all of the power cords on the weekends.
