New Intel System

Alright guys, I'm an AMD guy but I'm building a new system for a friend and he wants the best he can get. Right now I know the best is Intel but I don't know what Proc, MB, or ram to get. I know Intel runs DDDR well and all that good stuff. I'm gonna OC it for him as well. Could I get some recommendations on what to get him? Thanks guys.

do you have a budget? we really need that before we can start listing parts.

i could easily suggest a 2.6c setup if on a tight budget or if you have some cash to play with a nice 2.8-3.0 may be better for him.

well figure out what other parts you need and subtract them from the budget leaving the ram, mobo, and cpu and how much is left?

pretty much everything else is independant of what you choose for those parts.
